SmileDental Options
Choosing your dental provider is a difficult and important decision. You want a professional you can trust. One who cares.

We have a kind and caring dental team ready to assist you with your dental concerns and oral health maintenance. Dr.Boyett is not only a skilled physician, but is also a seasoned dentist and oral surgeon. He regularly performs dental procedures that require precision and expertise. We also have an anesthetist available to perform IV and oral sedation for those with major procedures and dental anxieties. Sedation Dentistry has proven to be a very effective method for treating those who have high stress levels relating to dental visits.

At Boyett Dental we offer routine oral maintenance with cleanings, oral exams, and periodontal therapy for those with periodontal disease. Cleanings are a great way to get a good look at your overall oral health. Once your teeth are cleaned and x-rayed, Dr. Boyett can examine each tooth while also referring to the X-rays to determine the current state of each tooth. His assessment is then discussed with you, the patient, and a treatment plan is formulated to "attack" any areas of concern. Fillings, Root Canals, and Crowns may be a few of the options we use to remedy your dental caries. Our CEREC machine enables us to mill some crowns right here in our office. This can be quite a benefit when your case meets the proper criteria because it eliminates days of waiting for a lab to create a crown for you. As a dental surgeon, Dr. Boyett also performs wisdom teeth removals, simple extractions and full mouth extractions for dentures.
Cosmetic Dentistry is another great option available to our patients. We offer Crowns, Veneers, Full mouth restorations, Bridges, Partials, and Dentures. When considering a cosmetic procedure, you must also consider the materials you will use. The better the material, the better the longevity of the restoration. Your options are discussed with you, allowing you to choose the material that meets your current goals and financial budget. While Cosmetic Dentistry can certainly come in handy to correct flaws, and save your natural teeth, it can also offer a boost in self confidence when you have a smile you can be proud of.

Neuromuscular Dentistry is also a part of our broad service repertoire. We are able to diagnose and treat jaw related issues, while working to correct them with a variety of treatment options . To put it simply, neuromuscular dentistry places the jaw into its optimal position, relieving the symptoms associated with TMJ. These symptoms can include headaches, jaw pain, neck and shoulder pain, ringing in the ears, and clicking/popping in the jaw.

Interested in teeth whitening? We offer the standard tray whitening method, as well as our new laser teeth whitening option. Both are effective and ready to use at your convenience. Simply call us to schedule your appointment and we'll help you to whiten your teeth several shades lighter than your current shade.

Please take the time to consider our clinic when looking at your dental options. We boast a well trained staff, with many who have completed courses at  Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).  LVI is revolutionizing dentistry and the quality of treatment offered to the general public. If you are currently a patient, we'd like to thank you for the favor you show to us in choosing our clinic for your dental needs. If you are looking for a dental provider, we'd be honored to be of service to you. Please call our office to schedule an appointment today!

Medical Options

Though Boyett Health Services is a small town clinic, we try to stay current and up to date with the latest treatments and technologies. We've built our practice upon  policies and ideals that enable us to uphold the highest standard of care for our patients.  We'd like to think we are a practice you can depend on to see you through "in sickness and in health".

We take pride in the services we offer and the way we offer them.  We are so much more than just an office visit. Our practice provides the convenience of having multiple services rendered in one central location. Let's take a look at what you have access to here in our clinic.
Lab and Xray Department
An in house lab and digital Xray department makes treating and diagnosing an illness or injury a quick and easy process. There is often no waiting for test results to be called in to your doctor before taking the next step. Many of our lab tests are read right here in our office. We can test for blood glucose level, CBC, PT-INR, A1c, H-Pylori, Flu, TB, Strep, Mono, a variety of urinalysis and drug screens, as well as administer  the Dtap and Flu vaccine.
Ultrasound

Echocardiograms and Vascular studies are options available when trying to diagnose the state of your heart, blood vessels, arteries, and veins. Ultrasound imaging involves exposing the body to high frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show the structure and movement of the body's internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels.

We will soon be offering Ultrasound guided injections! This technology uses a proprietary algorithm to make the needle clearly distinguishable while maintaining striking image quality of the target and surrounding anatomy.

 Injections

Orthovisc injections are used to manage knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. It is given as one injection per week for three or four consecutive weeks and helps to restore healthy fluid to your knee joint. Orthovisc can relieve knee pain for up to six months.

Gardisil injections are also available. Gardisil is given to girls and boys ages 9-26 years of ages in a series of 3 injections over 6 months to help protect against HPV. GARDASIL may not fully protect everyone, nor will it protect against diseases caused by other HPV types or against diseases not caused by HPV.

 Suboxone

Suboxone is used in the treatment of opiate addiction (or pain pill dependence). Opioid dependence is a challenging disease that often requires medication assisted  treatment along with counseling to provide the best possibility of success. Suboxone is used to help patients suppress opioid withdrawal symptoms and reduce opioid cravings, enabling them to return to some sense of a normal life.

HCG Diet

The hCG diet is a weight loss protocol that has helped thousands of overweight people to lose an estimated 1 to 3 lbs per day while modifying their metabolism and eating habits for long term results.

A 500 calorie a day diet also known as the VLCD (very low calorie diet), is combined with a minimal intake of hCG.  It's a completely natural hormone that is created in laboratories and works as it raises the body's metabolic rate while using stored fat for energy.  The result is significant fat loss in a very short period of time.

Minor Surgeries

Minor surgeries are a routine part of the itinerary in our medical clinic. Dr. Boyett performs Toe Nail Removal,  Wart Removal, Cyst Removal, Mole Excision, and Biopsies. This proves to be quite a convenience, since some providers tend to refer minor surgical cases out to specialists.

It's plain to see that we're no ordinary clinic. We provide a bountiful list of services, and most find that our wait times are favorable, as well. We work hard to practice medicine with integrity and upright moral standards; to stay on the cutting edge without sacrificing patient service and care. Our friendly, well educated staff stands ready to assist you in assessing your physical status and finding the best course of action to get you back on the road to optimum health. We are pleased to be an active part of your wellbeing. We look forward to seeing you in our clinic!  (205) 921-5556

Facebook logo

Nowadays there are countless  media outlets we use to keep up with the latest information available. For  many with busy lives, social networking is becoming the primary source of communication. We realize that social outlets are quickly becoming the way people prefer to receive updates and information, so we've made steps in this direction. Boyett Health Services can be found on Facebook. Facebook has risen to the top over other social networking giants like MySpace. More people use Facebook on a daily basis than any other social site. We use this popular network to keep our patients and friends "in the know" with updates, articles, quotes and more.

email archives

Our monthly newsletters have also proven to be an effective way to get our message out there. Email has long since replaced the postal service for everyday communication. We try to include tidbits and articles that relate to you and your needs, while also informing you of any special alerts regarding our clinic.
