Dear Friends,
We have started our Annual Appeal for your support to bridge our operating financial gap. We need to raise $8000. To give you an idea, our rent expense has gone up from $16,000 in 2007 to $25,000 in the current year. All other expense categories are up too. This is an incredible cost to bear in such a short time. We anticipate the rent to go up in the Fall. This is part of the broader financial pressure faced by schools, Nassau county and New York State. We ask each and every one of you to support us - no amount is too small.
