Sandwich, MA--Randy Hunt, state representative elect for the 5th Barnstable District, announced the appointment of Ben Nugent to the position of legislative aide.
"Ben has been an effective aide for current representative Jeff Perry and I believe that this continuity will ensure a smooth transition, especially with respect to constituent services," Hunt said. "Ben will spend most of his time in the district working on constituent issues, as he does now, but will also be invaluable to me in the State House handling logistics while I focus on implementing the jobs and health care initiatives that I promoted during the campaign."
Hunt will also maintain the district office in its current location at 93 Route 6A in Sandwich complete with the same telephone number, all in an effort to provide a seamless transition for the residents of the 5th Barnstable District. He will also schedule office hours in Barnstable, Bourne and Mashpee for the convenience of residents in those towns.
