CORRECTION: West Barnstable Civic Assocation candidates' forum set for October 19th.
Sandwich, MA--Randy Hunt, CPA and Republican candidate for the 5th Barnstable District state representative seat, invites everyone to watch, listen and participate in three debates scheduled this month.
Mindy Todd, host of The Point on WCAI radio 90.1, 91.1 and 94.3 FM out of Woods Hole, will moderate the 5th Barnstable District candidates' first one-on-one debate this Tuesday, October 5th at 9 a.m. The NPR affiliate simulcasts on the Internet and makes its shows available as podcasts at

WXTK 95.1 has scheduled a debate day for all contested races affecting the Cape & Islands for Saturday, October 16th at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis. These debates will be recorded for later broadcast on WXTK, but the public is invited to attend the event which runs from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The 5th Barnstable District candidates will debate during the 11 a.m. to noon hour.
The West Barnstable Civic Association is sponsoring a candidates' forum on Tuesday, October 19th at the West Barnstable Community Building on Route 149. Social time starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by the monthly meeting and candidates' forum at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to these debates, Randy Hunt will be appearing on WXTK with Ed Lambert on Thursday, October 7th at 8 a.m., and again on WXTK with Chris Boyd on two Saturdays, October 16th and October 30th at 3:00 p.m.
