ABOUT FLEXO LABEL ADVANTAGE GROUP
IPW announced our buying group strategy at the 2010 Graph Expo Presidents' Conference in Chicago. FLAG was the first print industry buying group to step up to the challenge. IPW & FLAG joined forces under a strategic alliance agreement in fourth quarter 2010.

"Flexo Label Advantage Group (FLAG) is a buying group for narrow web flexographic label converters. After twenty-five years serving the graphics industry with the Pitman Company, I saw an opportunity for a buying group in the flexo label industry that was already working in other graphic industry segments. As Strategic Development Manager in the National Account Division at Pitman, I helped develop specific programs for such buying groups. In just over one year since I started FLAG, it has established itself with a growing Membership and a National Substrate Vendor which is providing a savings for FLAG Members on label roll stocks; papers & films. "
