MAGNET Innovation Center Update - April 2010 Greetings! "The better part of valor is discretion" as the saying goes, so I will avoid any intro dealing with Cleveland sports this month... While not completely finalized, incubator metrics for the first quarter of 2010 show another three months of solid performance from the incubator tenants, as documented below.  Sales, investment and job creation all continued the strength we saw closing out 2009.  I also liked the fact that the metrics weren't simply generated by a couple of companies. The companies generating the sales numbers were different than those receiving investments.  Likewise, the job growth was yet another handful of companies.  I'm highlighting one of those company successes below.  Congratulations to our tenant Gas Tran Systems for another major sale. Success Stories Gas Tran Systems manufacturers water purification equipment that removes all dissolved gases from process water.  Their systems beverage companies such as Pepsi speed production, improve product quality and reduce plant utilities including CO2, a greenhouse gas. Gas Tran recently sold its second system for export to Canada, this one going to Pepsi Beverage Company in Moncton, New Brunswick.  Congratulations on this recent success Gas Tran! Speaker Series Our speaker series continues June 1st with Rob Felber of Felber and Felber Marketing.  Rob's presentation is entitled "How To Get the Media To Pay Attention and What To Do Once They Do".
