Tip of the month: Remove Old Storage Devices!
Did you know that old computer storage devices, such as hard drives, must be disposed of in a proper manner if they contain(ed), processed or transmitted credit card data? You should contact a NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) certified disposal company for the job to get done right. Storage media can include everything from hard drives to DVDs, USB thumb drives and memory chips (and a whole lot more). You can view a list of Certified Members here. |
