Arnot Art Museum
The Arnot Art Museum,
located in Downtown Elmira, displays a permanent collection of 17th to 19th century European paintings, 19th and 20th century American art. The museum is also a participating Blue Star Museum; offering free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families now through Labor Day 2011.

"New York Remembers" Exhibition
Elmira's Clemens Center is one of thirty places across New York State where you can reflect on the "New York Remembers" exhibition, recognizing the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The exhibitions will feature historical artifacts from the collections of the State Museum and National September 11 Memorial & Museum. The stories behind all the artifacts will also be told as part of the collections.
The exhibit will run August 29th to September 30th.
