Region 10
An Even Better Region 10 Show in 2012!
What a great show! Entry and horse numbers were higer than last year. Despite some wild weather and blackouts, everyone had a wonderful time. The progressive barn party and street dance were so much fun. The expanded youth activities kept the kids busy. The new Think Pink halter classes were well supported and with the Calcutta classes, Battle of the Barns and other fund raising activities, Region 10 raised over $10,000 for breast cancer research! The new AgStar arena made the show more relaxed with ample time for socializing. We tried a lot of new things this year and some will need to be tweaked for the 2013 show BUT the energy in the air and the enthusiasm from all points to a bright future for Region 10. It also appears that the sport horse and dressage regionals were a great success as well.
Mark your calendars now for the 2013 shows:
- Pre-Show, June 12
- Region 10 show, June 13-16
The complete calendar of regional meetings, shows, clinics and other events can be found here.
