Star of Texas AHC Needs Your Help
Star of Texas Arabian Horse Club invites other Arabian clubs in Texas to become horse handlers for the first grade literacy program called Horse Tales (formally known as the Black Stallion Literacy Project). The kids get to meet Little Black, a pony, at their own school and then read about his adventures. Their reward for reading is the "second touch" - a day with horses. It is our sixth year, and the magic is always the same. Nothing compares to the feeling of having made a difference in a child's life. Star of Texas is the only club in south
Texas participating, so let's try to get more volunteers and schools involved in 2013. Go to the website and learn how to become a handler!

The best part of the Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Milestone Award Program is that the type of riding doesn't matter as long as it is non-competitive!
