When we are putting together a recipe package we try to give a broad representation of products.
In this recipe package you will find skin moisturizing recipes including an anti-wrinkle cream using Squalane and natural AHA from our Multi-fruit BSC extract blend, an eye cream, an MSM hand & body lotion and a Shea Butter foot lotion.
We have also included some Mineral Make-up and cosmetic recipes, including a silky dusting powder using Tapioca Starch, Natrasorb and Silk Peptide Powder, an oil free liquid foundation, and a detoxifying mineral mask using natural clays and extracts.
A big part of any skin care regime is cleansing. In this recipe package you will find an energizing daily shampoo recipe using our Vital Hair & Scalp extract complex, a detoxifying creme cleanser and conditioning shampoo bar to name but a few.
As a bonus you will also find recipes for a moisture rich lip balm as well as a peppermint mineral foot soak and a soothing aftershave balm.
We hope that you enjoy all of the recipes, and don't forget it is very very easy to adjust recipes to make them unique to you. Excepting cold process soap recipes, oils in any skin care recipes can be exchanged for any other oil, proteins can be substituted, preservatives can be changed etc....
Part of the fun of making your own products is experimentation. We encourage you to experiment and make changes so the recipes better reflect your vision of what product you want to make or market.

Spring is just over a week away and we thought it was a perfect time to focus on skin care. As seasons change and the days get longer we spend more and more time outside and often forget to look after the largest organ in the human body - our skin. We have many great ingredients and packaging options on sale right now. A full list of
Specials can be found on our site. Some of the featured items include some ingredients that you will find used in the recipes found in our new Spring 2010 Recipe Package.
These include Olive Oil Squalane. Squalane is naturally extracted from olive oil, and enhances the skins ability to naturally regenerate as it helps to nourish, hydrate and oxygenate dry or damaged skin.
We are also featuring our new Acai Biofunctional Botanical Liquid Extract. Acai berries are rich in antioxidants that are beneficial to the skin, helping to combat the aging process, keeping the skin looking more firm and youthful.
Some of the other ingredients that are on sale are our white and natural beeswax pastilles, carnauba wax, e-wax emulsifying wax, Vitamin E, and jojoba oil clear. Thanks again for all your support and patronage over the past winter season. Later in March we will be launching a large selection of new products, and our next email will have a focus on natural cleaning, and the ingredients that can replace the chemical based commercial cleansers that too often are found in our cupboards.
Many of the new ingredients and packaging that we are getting ready to introduce this month are as a direct result of customer requests and suggestions. So if you have an ingredient, a style of packaging, or a product that you think we should be carrying then please let us know.
