| NATURAL SOAP BASE |
One of the NEW product lines we are most excited about is our NEW Cold Process Style Natural Melt & Pour Soap Base.
All natural, it is made using saponified vegetable oils, with added glycerin, sorbitol and protein.
We have looked years for a truly natural melt & pour soap base and are thrilled to have finally found one.
And if you live on the Wet Coast like we do and get frustrated by your glycerin soap sweating, the white and clear is very low sweat, just like cold process soap.
One of the other things we were so impressed about was the quality of the specialty soaps. The Shea Butter Soap is made with 5% Shea Butter. The Aloe Soap is made with 5% Aloe Vera Gel. The Goat's Milk Soap is made with 10% pure liquid goat's milk.
And guess what, the 2lb size is currently ON SALE.
This soap is wonderfully easy to use, and colours beautifully using our Lab Color liquid colourants.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is only 2 months away. We hope you and your family has a healthy and happy Fall and Winter season.
We have been talking in previous emails about some of the new products we are introducing. As consumers increase their interest in natural products, ingredient manufacturers are introducing wonderfully innovative and eco-friendly ingredients. In this email we are featuring many new products that are on the cutting edge of New Natural Personal Care Technologies, and in the spirit of the upcoming season, have also put them on Special.

| New Eco-Certified AMAZE XT |
 One of our NEW ingredients, and one we are very excited about is AMAZE XT. AMAZE XT is a natural Eco Certified anionic polymer derived from Xanthan Gum that is multi-functional, serving as the thickener/gelling/suspending agent for gels as a suspending and thickening agent in the creation of Bath & Shower Gels, Facial Cleansers and other bath products. The picture shown is our new Blue Raspberry Cleansing Gel with suspended blue Jojoba Beads. Amaze XT is incredibly versatile. It acts as a gelling agent / fixative in hair gels, as AMAZE XT provides unprecedented hold under highly humid conditions without being tacky or flaking. Used in Lotion and Cream emulsions it will help create a light, fluffy texture that is non tacky and airy. It is easy to use, as it disperses quickly in water and does not require neutralization, resulting in as much as an 80% reduction in manufacturing time compared to traditional gel systems. The only thing we found is that using a stick blender helps speed up the wetting process. Amaze XT is Eco Certified as a natural product by ECOCERT France SAS. Common usage 0.3% - 3% depending on application

| *NEW - DRY-FLO AF PURE |
 One of the fantastic New Products we are thrilled to be offering is Dry-Flo AF Pure. We have been amazed as to how it enhances the feel in lotions and creams and mineral make-up products. Dry-Flo AF Pure is a hydrophobically modified corn starch that helps enhance the feel and slip of your lotions, creams, balms, natural deodorants, body powders, mineral cosmetics and lip care products by reducing the greasy feel sometimes associated with these types of products. Its soft, velvety feel gives products a light, silky, smooth feel during application as well as after. When used in body powders or make up, it absorbs body moisture and facial oil without whitening the skin.
The Picture Above is a Strawberry-Margarita Moisturing Sorbet whose recipe is given out in our newsletter section. It incorporates Amaze XT as the gelling agent and Dry-Flo as well as a variety of moisturizers. It is easy to make and feels wonderful on the skin.
To incorporate Dry-Flo AF Pure into your lotions and creams either pre-mix the powder into a slurry of oil and then add to your product when it reaches below 55 degrees celcius or you can add the powder directly to your product slowly with continuous mixing when it reaches this same temperature. Dry-Flo AF Pure should not be added to lotion/cream products with temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius or the starch will swell and start to dissolve, thickening your product.
To incorporate this product into oil/wax formulations such as balms and salves, melt all oils and waxes and slowly sift the powder in while stirring until well blended. In oil anhydrous formulas, Dry-Flo AF Pure is unaffected by temperatures up to approx. 70 degrees Celsius
Dry-Flo AF Pure is completely free of Aluminum. Common Usage 1-30% in emulsions, 5-80% in powders

| Introducing NATRASORB |
 Another wonderful Eco-Certified Ingredient is NATRASORB. NATRASORB BATH starch is able to absorb and carry large quantities of oils and anhydrous liquids, such as bath oils, carrier oils and fragrance oils. The starch is processed in a manner that creates unique 'pockets' that can carry the oils essentially in a solid, powder form. NATRASORB BATH starch is hydrophilic so that once the starch comes in contact with water, it immediately dissolves, releasing loaded oils, fragrances and/or emulsifiers, dispersing them into the warm water.
The starch itself provides a soft feel to the bath water, but does not settle or leave a film. NATRASORB BATH can also be blended with dry surfactant such as our Lathanol or Bioterge AS90 to formulate foaming bath powders or bubbling bath bombs with high oil content.
This product is great used as a oil and fragrance oil carrier for bath salts, bath bombs etc as well as a great replacement for those not wanting to use talc in their body powders.
Natrasorb can generally take 10%-15% oil load by weight without showing any change but can be used at any percentage in your products.
