Reading is So Delicious!

Summer Reading, June 4-July 31

Every summer we get thousands of eager participants to join the summer reading clubs. Studies show that summer readers maintain more of their academic skills and are better prepared for the upcoming school year. Involving the entire family keeps everyone excited about reading! Registration begins June 4 at the Library or online. Click on the summer reading icon for your age group (kids, teens and adults) to register for the program.

Textbook Donations

Honor your graduating high school senior with a directed donation to the Hinsdale Public Library. Your gift will help us build a collection of high school textbooks for use in the Library, so that life's little emergencies won't derail homework or projects.  To make your pledge, please complete the Materials Donation Form and return it to the Circulation or Reference Desk. For more information please contact Ellen Smith at esmith@hinsdalelibrary.info.

Students, help us build the collection by donating your textbooks at the end of the school year. We are looking for any donations, but math, science and foreign language textbooks that are still being used in the classroom are especially welcome. Donations can be dropped off during regular library hours at Circulation Services. Please mention that they are for the textbook shelf.
