If we follow the evolution of our species we see an apparent acceleration between internal development and external technological accomplishments. While there is plenty of evidence that a technological singularity is near (Ray Kurtzweil) we must also look at the path of our internal evolution and recognize that it points towards a singularity as well (see following diagram.) In regards to the tetra-arising nature of integral, we must consider the fact that our external technological accomplishments and our internal development are emerging in a co-evolutionary process towards a point of unification... "
