Are You Embodying What You Know?
By: Robb Smith
Contained within the human heart is an inextinguishable drive to make greater sense of our world while also cultivating the freedom, passion and capacities to transform it. This is why many of us are drawn to lead integral lives. And I’m sure you have noticed that while living integrally starts as something you know, it proceeds to something you do, and ends as something you embody. It is embodiment, this final step, that we all seek – the “on-board capacities” to grow anywhere we want to; to live completely, deeply in touch with our unique gifts and vision. Not merely as something we know, but also as something we are. [+more] |

New School Year
By: Joanne Hunt
The new school year is well underway. Children are back in class with favorite teachers, dreaded homework, a new locker, unknown class-mates, and a backpack of new school supplies. They take on so much ‘new’ at the end of each summer, don’t they? Cycles of development never ending. [+more] |

A big part of bringing about lasting change is first learning to see your current way of approaching your topic so that you can consciously work with the pitfalls and inherent grace of your own “way.” [+more] |

Contributor: Diane Musho Hamilton Sensei
The Unique Self is much more than a Myers-Briggs test with a spiritual overlay. It does not refer to any of these ornaments of the self—though it is immanent to the trials and tribulations of the ego, it utterly transcends the ego, remaining forever untouched by the appetites of identity. The Unique Self represents the deepest possible expression of consciousness, a subject that can never be made object, the union of ever-present consciousness and individual perspective at a radically fundamental level.
