Financing Island Properties Real estate on Sanibel and Captiva Islands is selling and I believe anyone can see why; prices are attractive and mortgage interest rates are near record lows. If one harbors dreams of becoming a Sanibel or Captiva Islander it is a wonderful time to act.
Our islands are unique in so many ways including some of the real estate available for purchase. Stunning resort communities like South Seas for example are highly desirable but financing a home or condominium within the gates of the resort can be tricky for the uninitiated. Enter Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, we are an island bank chartered right here on Sanibel. We understand our islands' real estate and are willing lenders for properties here. South Seas - no problems.
Not only are we comfortable with island properties we well understand the allure of owning a vacation home that perhaps subsidizes the cost of ownership with rental income. Many national lenders have a problem with individuals renting their vacation homes but we do not, it makes sense to us.
One more hot button, Foreign Nationals. Hey Sanibel and Captiva Islands are the number one vacation destination in the world. Who can be surprised if folks visiting from other nations want a piece of paradise? We live here, we get the attraction and we will help. Foreign Nationals who wish to join us on island time are welcome and we have loans for them.
It is all in our name, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. We are committed to our islands and we demonstrate that commitment every day. We live here, work here, volunteer here, raise our children here, and yes we lend here.
If you have questions about our loan programs please call me at (239) 472-6100 or you may reach me at DWright@SanCapBank.com.

Brightest Horizons Fundraiser
|
We recently attended another great fundraiser with friends aboard the Lady Chadwick to raise funds for
Brightest Horizons, a state-licensed not-for-profit organization that provides an educational program for 163 children from four weeks to 12 years of age. Great food, music by Danny Morgan and fun auction items rounded out the evening.
If you weren't able to attend you can still give to this great organization by going to brightesthorizons.org
