Announcement:  Special Congregational Meeting on Solar Panels - 9:45am Sunday Sep 9th

  Following the recent 'solar day' at our church with GreenFaith, we have been exploring a financial opportunity that has recently opened up to get this solar project re-started. Although the congregation voted on installing solar electric panels years ago (2005) we were unable (for various reasons) to get the task completed. The church council has reviewed a brand new proposal from APSolar and their leasing company and we are working on the engineering study now to ensure the facility is capable to use these solar panels and to finalize the costs and savings from the proposed installation. 

  We are planning for a short Special Congregational Meeting on September 9th at 9:45am (between the 8:30 am and 10:00 am services) to review the final solar panel proposal with the congregation and to vote on the topic of proceeding with solar panel installation.  

  We will be making available information at least a week prior to the meeting, and questions prior to the meeting are both welcomed and encouraged.
