All Saints' Services at Lord of Life

Tuesday, November 1st at 3:00 and 7:30pm.

This coming week we are joining Christians around the globe in celebration of All Saints Day. On this day we remember and give thanks for the faithful witness of those disciples who have gone before.  We especially remember those members, friends, and loved ones who have died since last All Saints' Day, but this is a time to reflect upon and celebrate the witness of those who have passed from us at any time.  We will also celebrate those who have been baptized this past year.  You are invited to bring a picture of your loved one for a special memory table. Let us share and remember together.

The GRACE PLACE News

grace place
Grace Place welcomed John Welling and Jim Smith on October 21st as part of Fire Safety Month!  They did a fantastic job of teaching the children what to do in fire situations.  The children got to see just how far the ladder goes up on the firetruck, too!  Thanks to John and Jim for taking the time out of their busy schedules to help educate our Grace Place children.
Friday, October 28th there were many super heroes, animals, and princesses around the grounds of Grace Place.  Even a clown (Ms. Jill)  Our annual Halloween parade had our cast of characters strutting their stuff before parents, grandparents, and friends!

Thanksgiving Holiday Dinner Bags

Every year Lord of Life helps the people served by the Christian Caring Center in Browns Mills by providing Thanksgiving Dinner supplies to over 70+ families in the area.   Here is what is needed:  stuffing mix, canned vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, canned fruit, canned gravy, canned sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned juices, canned frosting, dessert mixes like cake or brownies, and turkey gift certificates from Acme-please put the certificates in an envelope and place them in the church office.  It would be appreciated if all canned goods came with pop top lids or drop in a can opener if you can.  Thank you to all members and church groups for helping with this important project, especially during these difficult economic times.

Again, Social Ministry thanks you for your generous support!
