3 D Lent: Dinner, Discovery, and Devotions
Wednesdays, March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13
6:00-8:00 for Senior High Youth-Adults
Make Wednesdays a part of your Lenten journey! We'll begin with a simple communal meal of soup, bread, and dessert. Then we'll break into three discovery study sessions: Senior High Youth Ministry with Donna Yates; Developing Our Prayer Life with Pastor David Jones; and Lutheran Questions, Lutheran Answers: Exploring Christian Faith, by Martin Marty, with Pastor Sue Jones. We'll come back together once again to end our evening with shared devotions. This is a wonderful way to make Lent a time of renewal in your spiritual journey.
Session topics will be:
· March 16 - Questions about God
· March 23 - Questions about the Holy Spirit
· March 30 - Questions about the Bible
· April 6 - Questions about Humanity
· April 13 - Questions about Christian Life
At the same time Pastor Jones will be offering a second study track focusing on different forms of Prayer. Come join us, won't you?

The President's Corner
As we head into our Lenten journey, I would like to take this time to thank each and every member of our Congregation who attended the Annual Meeting on February 27th.
Like Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who faced great challenges during his forty days and nights in the wilderness, we at Lord of Life are facing challenges of our own. In the coming days, weeks, and months, our Stewardship Committee will be contacting you asking you to share your time, talents, and treasure. Please prayerfully consider what you can give to our church.
Lastly, if you have any concerns, questions, or suggestions about Lord of Life please feel free to approach me at any service or e-mail them to me at sglosner@comcast.net.
May your Lenten journey bring you closer to God.
Your brother in Christ,
Scott Glossner

Thanks to the Kids!
A big thank you to the children of Grace Place! It was wonderful to be with all of you today to share my experiences & mementos from Australia. You were all so well behaved & interested in what I had to say & I enjoyed myself being with you. God's blessings on all of you sweet precious children of God, thank you for allowing me to share your morning! - Blessings & love to you all, Mrs Knapp
A Great Big Thank You!
To all of you who participated in and contributed your time and talent to my Ordination and Installation services and to all of you who have gifted me in so many ways during this time. Becoming a pastor, and particularly one of your pastors, has been a truly amazing experience and I am very much looking forward to learning, serving, and celebrating with all of you in the months and years to come. God has truly blessed me in and through all of you and I thank you for the many expressions of love and support you continue to offer as I settle into life at Lord of Life. - Pastor Sue Jones
Thanks for your Kindness
We would like to thank you for all your prayers, cards & donations in the name of our family. The loss of our son inlaw was a big shock. Please continue to pray for our daughter Laurie and her 5 year old twins Karl & Lizzie.
- In God's Love, Fran and Chuck Bubeck

Time & Talent needed!
The Lord of Life Property Committee is looking for a few good people to help maintain our facilities. We meet one Saturday morning each month to do the things that need to be done to keep our building in good shape. If Saturdays are not your thing, tasks may be taken from the "Job Jar" and completed on your own schedule. So, if you can do simple repairs, painting, replace light bulbs, cut grass or any type of household task; please contact Chuck Bubeck (609-953-8793; cfbubeck@verizon.net) and share your time and talents. Stay tuned as we announce the next fixup date after Easter!

Grace Place
Many thanks to the presenters and support people that helped at Grace Place's first International Week including: Joylyn Davis, Bea Sinn, Kim Rosenberg, Charlie Foster, Monica Degnan, Barbara Knapp, Sherri Adamson, Dawn Heinrich, Christine Webb, Mindy McKeown, Amanda Mau, Heather Cosper, Debbie Vacca, Lori Yeager, Jeanine Mattheissen, Fran Bubeck, Sue Dreisbach and Donna Yates. Jesus surely provided us with lots of helping hands!

The children first boarded a plane making sure they had plane tickets and passports. The plane flew around the world and landed in Guatemala, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Scotland, China, Mexico and Italy. In each country the children learned about the physical country, the customs, and the food. They made a craft and were off to the next one. The children learned valuable lessons and so did the teachers. A special thank you to Judy Burgo for bringing the idea home from an Evangelical Lutheran Seminar and pursuing it.
Remember to register for preschool for next year! Classes are starting to fill and we don't want to leave anyone out.
