The President's Corner
As we end another program year and head into the summer I want to wish everyone a healthy and happy summer season. Have fun, be safe, and most importantly, do not forget to be thankful for everything you have. Thank GOD every single day for the blessings he has bestowed upon you and your families. Some of you will be away from Lord of Life through the summer but remember to keep up in your faith journey. I challenge each and every one of us, including myself, to make a conscience effort to attend church regularly through the summer, even if it means visiting a church wherever your travels may take you.
May the Lord be with you, Scott Glsosner

 Vacation Bible School is August
2-6th in which the church will become a "rainforest". Morning sessions for preschoolers-K; evening sessions for 1st-5th grades. Bible
stories, music, drama, crafts, games, snacks, and lots of FUN learning God's Word! Prayerfully consider how you can help in any of those areas as well, and sign-up on the bulletin board in the entryway!

The Place of Money
If you watch the latest lottery commercial - you'd
think that the jackpot is the answer to all the problems we have and it
promises to unleash unbelievable happiness. But money and wealth is overrated! Ask anyone permanently disabled as a result of an accident and they'll
tell you that money doesn't buy back the use of their legs or their eyesight or
their full intelligence. The Lord gave us the time and the skills and abilities that
enable us to work and earn money. How
are you able to bless people with your time, talents and your use of God's
creation?

 Please Help Save a Life!
The upcoming blood drive will be June 29 at our church starting at 1pm. Please try to donate if you can - you can make a difference and perhaps save a life! How often do we get the chance to do that?

Email Feedback
To the ladies of the Women's Ministry, Thank you so much for your labor of love the Sunday afternoon you appeared at my home to weed, then plant such lovely flowers for me. Each morning as I look out of my kitchen window I am reminded of their unselfish love given to me with those plants. Thanx & blessings to all of you, - Barbara Knapp |

Time and Talent Auction - Sept. 25th
After the Saturday Worship Service at 7:00PM,
we invite you to a very special auction in Fellowship Hall. People donate items
or services with a suggested
minimum bid. All articles on display prior to the auction while we
enjoy light refreshments. Our
auctioneer, Scott Glossner, will then begin the auction and proceeds will be
donated to a special ministry.
In the past we have had
services donated such as a certain amount of hours of babysitting,
housecleaning, yard work and handyman services. Other services included painting a room,
cooking dinner for a fixed number, and a personally guided historical tour. Items may be handmade or purchased (new items
only). We've had some beautiful holiday decorations, handmade quilts, and even
an oil painting donated! Other items
included tickets to professional sporting events, and live entertainment. As you can see, there are opportunities for
everyone to participate in this fun-filled event.
We are publicizing this event well in advance in order that
those who plan to craft something will have ample time. Donation slips will be
placed in the narthex shortly. Questions
about the auction can be addressed to either Joanne Thomas (609-654-8311;
thomasjm@comcast.net) or Peg Gibson (609-268-8429; mgibson60@comcast.net).

Holy HumorAttending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, 'Why is the bride dressed in white?'' The mother replied, 'Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life.' The child thought about this for a moment then said, 'So why is the groom wearing black?'
