This month's Bible verse:  "Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.  Then after the battle you will still be standing firm."
~Ephesians 6:13

THANK YOU!
I thank everyone who gave Acme stickers - we were able to purchase cookware for a needy family.  Thank you!  Fran Jones

Thanks to everyone who came to support the Africa Mission Trip Brunch last Sunday.  The monies raised will make a big difference to Mary and her team, as she travels to work with children with music.  If you would still like to contribute, she is leaving early May and checks can be left at the church office.

A big THANK YOU goes out to all the boys and girls from the 8th grade confirmation class who helped clean up the outside of the church building on Saturday morning.  They pulled weeds (and some mighty sticky ones at that), raked up leaves and debris around the parking lot, cut the grass and put bags and bags of mulch out in the Memorial Garden.  It was a huge job but they all chipped in and helped out in different places.  THANK YOU  again.

How You Can Help
Thank You Notes: Would you like to have your loved one or friend serving overseas in the military receive a "thank you" note?  We would like to send a thank you note and an accompanying small prayer to him or her for serving our country. If so, please print the name and mailing address of the individual and put the information in mailbox 258. Thank you!  - - Ginny Magowan

Clothes for Kids: Looking for clothes for a 5 year old boy - sizes would be 5-6.  If anyone has summer clothes in this size and would like to donate them it would really be appreciated.  Jackets, shirts, shorts, jeans - he needs them all.  Call Barbara Wagner 859-0404 if you have anything that could be used.  Thank you for your generosity.

Worship Projection: We would like to provide projection for all of our worship services.  We are looking for
those who would like to be trained and for someone who would be interested in scheduling our volunteers.  Please contact Sue Dreisbach if you would like to share your gifts in either of these ways!

Food for CCC: This month we are collecting peanut-butter and jelly for the food pantry at the Christian Caring Center in Browns Mills.  If you can help, please place in the 'shopping cart' in the Narthex.  Thanks!

Endowment Team: We are seeking interested volunteers to help formulate the strategy and methods for the endowment fund at Lord of Life.  If interested, please contact Pastor or Bill Dreisbach.
