P&G hired Mario Testino to shoot this campaign for Jourdan fragrance. The shoot was imaged by FTP Creative and ready to go to print, when it was discovered that the designer dress the model was wearing could not be associated with the designer fragrance. It was 5pm and the client had the press booked for 9am the following day. The design, shape and colour of the dress were all changed beyond recognition overnight by FTP Creative and they produced the required shot on time.

 Michael J. Fox & Bryan Adams at S1 for Zoomer
Michael J. Fox brings his own brand of activism home to Canada to continue the fight to defeat Parkinsons Disease. Famous Canadian Rocker now turned photographer, Bryan Adams photographed Michael J. Fox for the April Zoomer Magazine Cover at S1.
As usual we pulled out all the stops to make it a successful shoot. S1 provided studios, lighting, computer equipment and support.

 Moo gets Hung Up on Shooting Fashion Magazine
The stunning spread "The Sporting Life" for Fashion Magazines' April issue was shot by photographer 'Moo'.
For numerous shots Moo required the model to be hanging from the ceiling to fit his creative.
Moo is a cool guy and gave us a plug, so here it is:
"S1s one-on-one approach gave me the peace of mind I needed through the gruelling production process, and my creative process is complete with S1 gear & production services"
S1 provided studio, equipment and gripped up a hanging system for the rings so Moo could get his shots.

Georgian College Poll Finds DSLR Video and "Work For Nothing" Attitude the Hottest Trends & Issues Today!
The unified voice among the many photographers responding to S1s question, "What are todays hottest trends & issues," was the explosion of interest in DSLR video. Equally strong was the complex issue of photographers being asked by clients to shoot for lower rates or free, giving up copyright yet supplying props, hair & make-up and retouching. The most surprising omission from the responses? No one objected to the rise of companies like iStock selling images for as little as one dollar.

 Firmware Upgrade - NOW shoot 24p frame rate on Canon 5D Mk II
For everyone that ran out and bought the 7D for its 24p frame rate, now the 5D Mk II has a firmware upgrade that allows it to shoot 24p as well!
The 5D Mk II with its larger sensor has a lens factor of 1:1, as opposed to the 7D, which has a lens factor of 1:1.6.
If you are shooting HD video on your next production don't forget to add the 5D Mk II to your equipment list. We have all the latest L lens lenses as well as the 3 new Zeiss Superrotator tilt/shift lenses in 40mm, 80mm, and 120mm (These lenses are the sharpest lenses you can use on a Canon).
