 S1 and Help-Portrait
Help-Portrait is a community of photographers coming together across the world, to use their photography skills to give back to their local community. On December 12th, photographers around the world grabbed their cameras, found people in need, and took their picture. The Toronto shoot of this global movement was arranged by CAPIC through Storefront (a social services agency) 8 studios were set up, and about 150 families photographed. S1 had the privilege of being involved in this years event by sponsoring lighting and grip equipment. The event was a total success, and we can't wait till next year!

 The Art of Detail at S1
If anyone could teach you a thing or two about the art of detail, its the folks at Flash Reproductions. This award winning printer handles each job with dilligence using a balance of old fashioned hands-on manipulation together with state of the art computer-driven technology. Up Inc wanted to convey their process by making a stunning image based promo book. S1 imaging was involved in providing processing, retouching, and proofing services to all 74 images used in the 11x14, 68-page book. Even the paper company was proud to tout it: HugePaper.com.
