CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF NEW BRANCH OFFICE AND EDUCATION CENTER

 

St. Mary's Bank, the nation's first credit union, celebrated the opening of its new branch office and education center at 48 Perimeter Road, Mancherster with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by New Hampshire Bank Commissioner Ronald A. Wilbur and Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas. St. Mary's Bank President and CEO stmaryRonald H. Covey hosted the event, which included a tour of the newly renovated, 31,000-square-foot facility.

 

St. Mary's Bank's new location near the Mall of New Hampshire features the credit union's ninth retail banking office plus a suite of conference rooms for member education and employee training purposes.  A service representative, 24-hour ATM and coin counting machine are also available.  The credit union plans to offer local non-profit partners use of the space for meetings.


DONATES TO THE CAREGIVERS, INC.

St. Mary's Bank announced it recently gave $2,725 to The CareGivers, Inc., a small, grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to helping the frail, elderly and disabled maintain their independence and dignity through the spirit of volunteerism.The CareGivers coordinates the distribution of food, transportation, and a personal presence for those in need. The funds will specifically be used to purchase a tracking software program for the group's Caring Cupboard.

 

"The CareGivers gives so much more than food to those in need in our community-they also provide company and conversation to many who are unable to leave their homes. This support helps individuals stay in their own homes and stay connected to their community," said Tom Champagne, Director of Community Outreach at St. Mary's Bank.  MAY 18 - 25TH NEW HAMPSHIRE RESTAURANT WEEK 

 

NH Restaurant WeekGov. John Lynch announced that he would proclaim May 18-25 as New Hampshire Restaurant Week, further continuing the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association's goal in highlighting the Granite State as a culinary destination. More than 100 restaurants across the state, including our own T-BONES Great American Eatery, have already committed to Restaurant Week NH; an eight-day event featuring prix fix menus at lunch and/or dinner, and 10 Celebrity Chefs will be promoting the event throughout the state. "Stay and dine" packages will also be offered by participating lodging properties throughout New Hampshire.

 

"I highly encourage the people of New Hampshire to experience all that our fine restaurants have to offer during New Hampshire Restaurant Week," Lynch said. "As Governor, I am proud of our restaurant and lodging industry. New Hampshire restaurants are known for their great food and knowledgeable staff, making for a wonderful dining experience that I hope you will experience for yourself during Restaurant Week in May, and all throughout the year."

OPOLY IS COMING TO TOWN

 

Part of this year's fundraising game plan for the Hudson/Litchfield Youth Football & Cheer (HLYFC) is to create "OUR OWN OPOLY" game board showcasing local businesses and organizations as property owners. Should you participate you will have hudson litchfield bearspermanent advertising to reach over 600 families right here in your community and you support not only for our organization, but our community as well.

 

HLYFC will be having TWO info nights where you can come by and see samples, get more information on how to be part of this game, and have the ability to purchase your property.  Ad Spots are limited and will be sold as first come first serve.

A new stone will be incorporated into the   9-11 Memorial site at Benson's Park in Hudson on Monday, May 28th at 9:00AM .

 

A brief dedication ceremony will take place on Memorial Day in honor of our men and women within the Armed Forces who have been called to duty due to the events of September 11, 2001. ~ We would be honored if you could join us. ~ Stay safe, be well and Never Forget - September 11, 2001

REVISIT A COMMUNITY TREASURE - THE HILLS MEMORIAL LIBRARY - EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH

 

The Hudson Library Board of Trustees proudly presents a series of monthly Open-House events at the Hills Memorial Library Building on Library Street in Hudson.Hills Memorial Library

 

The third Thursday of the month has been set aside to offer different events at the Hills Library.  The next event will be Thursday, May 17 which will be a photo exhibit and on June 21 there will be a "Meet the Non-Profits" event.
