HOLIDAY CHEER FOR OUR SOLDIERS

The students in the Alvirne Marketing Program would like to help spread Holiday Cheer to the soldiers currently serving overseas. Beginning in early November these students will invite other students and faculty members throughout the school to stop by the store to make a Christmas card for a soldier currently serving overseas.
In order to make this happen they need supplies! If there are any organizations or businesses that would like to donate paper, markers, stickers, etc., they can contact Kelli Wholey at kwholey@alvirnehs.org or 603-886-1260 x2536. The goal is to challenge every student and faculty to member in the building to complete a card, but they won't be able to do so without supplies! Kelli would like to thank all of you in advance for your generous donations.

COMING IN OCTOBER - UNIQUE JEWELRY & QUALITY GIFTS

After nearly 20 years of providing quality food at fair and reasonable prices Cookie's Chuck Wagon is bringing that same concept to jewelry and gifts for the people of the greater Hudson area and southern New Hampshire and perhaps beyond. On October 15th Cookie's owners, Dave and Li Ying Gilbert will open The Blue Sky Emporium at the site of their successful breakfast diner. Located in the Central Street Plaza on Rt. 111 in Hudson, NH The Blue Sky Emporium will offer a selection of unique jewelry and gift items not typically found in more conventional stores.
Drawing on their diverse backgrounds, Dave and Li Ying have bypassed the middle man and traveled directly to the factory representatives to personally select the opening inventory for The Blue Sky Emporium. While the opening focus is on quality jade and crystal, Dave and Li Ying will continually evaluate the interests of their customers and make adjustments. In addition to unique items Dave and Li Ying will demonstrate unique pricing. Items will not be marked up so they can be marked down and the misleading $ 00.95 or $00.99 will not be used. Thus, a $20 item will be priced $20 and not $19.99 and a sale will be a sale and not a gimmick to get the customer into the store. To get preview of what is offered visit www.BlueSkyEmp.com.
