Thank you to everyone that joined the Gr. Southeastern Container a high-volume manufacturer of plastic containers

for Coca-Cola bottling systems is recently received Honorable Mention for the 2010 Governor's Award for Pollution Prevention as having recieved multiple Governor's Pollution Prevention Award!

  
This year Southeastern Container is awarded for further reducing the amount of plastic in their bottles, reducing their CO2 emissions from freight and transportation by 64 metric tons, and switching to reusable totes, which eliminated 271,000 pounds of cardboard waste annually.  These efforts saved them $380,000 in one year!
