MindBodyHealth is a health and mindfulness based, psychological private practice located in Capitol Hill, Denver. Our comprehensive, holistic approach allows individuals to meaningful address and proactively manage a variety of psychological and medical ailments. In addition to traditional therapeutic services for concerns such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, adjustment issues, and interpersonal difficulties, MindBodyHealth provides several unique services. Several of our group programs are beginning soon!
 
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Tuesdays 530 - 7 PM Adolescent Group
Wednesdays 530 - 7 PM Adult Group
 
MindBodyHealth is now accepting new referrals for a 20 week Dialectical Behavior Therapy group. Group programming targets the 5 main DBT components, including: Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Walking the Middle Path.
 
DBT group has shown emerging effectiveness for a wide range of presenting problems and varying populations. Our current format is non-diagnostic specific as we tailor the material for individual needs.
 

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Pain Management Group

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the most researched mindfulness based program in the country, with findings suggesting long term benefits. Originally founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts, this program specifically targets the chronic pain population. MindBodyHealth is happy to announce the beginning of an 8 week MBSR program targeting chronic pain patients.
 
 
Bariatric Surgery Program
Pre and Post Operative Care
 
MindBodyHealth's comprehensive Bariatric Surgery Program addresses individual needs both pre and post bariatric surgery. From pre-surgical evaluations and assessment, to post-surgery therapy to address adherence to recovery, our program offers continuity of care. Individually tailored, our treatment addresses the complexity of this life altering procedure.
