Birthing involves some gut-wrenching hard work. Ask any woman who has gone through birth pangs to bring a child into this world. If you're going to give birth to anything in your career, your marriage, your ministry or your life, it will come through the things you suffer and bear as you push your seed out!

Suffering and pain is not the object; it's simply the canal through which the seed is birthed. For every sorrow, for every intense groaning in your spirit, you ought to have something to show for it. Don't let the devil give you pain and sorrow without the seed! Any time you suffer, it is a sign that God is trying to get something through you and to you.

Just as a mother is the entrance and door of life, you are the vehicle, an expression of blessing. If there be any virtue, any praise, any victory, any deliverance, it has to be birth through you. Don't let Satan use you as a legal entry into this world or into your family. Be careful what you allow to come through you. Close the doors to the enemy.

When travails comes into your spirit, it's because you're about to give birth. When you see sorrow multiply, it is a sign that God is getting ready to birth something through you. Don't be so preoccupied with the pain that you forget to push the baby. When the pain is at its peak, that's when you have to push. Cry if you must, groan if you have to, but keep on pushing. God has promised that when you give birth to your seed, it will bruise the head of Satan. So hang in there! After all, the pain is forgotten when the baby is born.
