Imagine this: Your plane just landed in a city where you are going to be attending a week long conference. It's been a long flight and you are tired and just want to get to the hotel and get some good rest. You pick your luggage off the conveyor belt, flag down a taxi and make it to your hotel. You check in your room and open your luggage to put some things up. After a few seconds you realize you have the wrong luggage! You mistakenly picked up somebody else's bag off the conveyor belt at the airport! You can't wear their clothes, you can't fit in their shoes...and certainly you can't use their toiletries. And you will not try to...you will promptly start the process of returning the luggage to the owner.

You can't live out of somebody else's bag! But isn't that what we sometimes try to do? You see, God has packed your own bag and has put inside that bag exactly what YOU need for your trip to this earth. You have your own talents, gifts and abilities that are unique to you. To be a winner you have to be yourself and quit comparing yourself to others or trying to be who God has not made you to be.

"You can be anything you want to be." We've heard this all our life. But that is WRONG!!! You can be what you were meant to be. Make sure you understand what the Master wants...in other words...what has He packed in your bag?

What's your raw talent? What unlocks your passion? What problems infuriate you? What problems do you love to solve? Why do you do what you do? What are your limitations? Once you are able to answer these questions you are on the road to unpacking the right luggage.

Let's be clear: you have an assignment and you must seek it with an open mind. Ask God to direct you and He will. Don't try to live like someone else. It only leads to a chronic sense of inadequacy and frustration. It's like living out of that luggage you mistakenly picked up. Nothing will fit.
