"...Arise and depart, for this is not your rest". (Micah 2:10)
As we come to the end of the year, take some time to reflect on your life. Look around you. Examine your life. Whatever place you find yourself right now is not your final destination. However you must be willing to make some changes so you can make great advances in 2011. It can be comfortable to just let things remain the way they are ...but that is dangerous. You know why? Because you become comfortable where you are and come up with excuses why things cannot change! Your life then becomes polluted, stagnant and dry.
Our scripture reference says "arise and depart." You are the one to make the changes. There are some things you will have to stop doing. There are people you must separate yourself from and there are people to form alliances with. There are some old habits you must break and new habits you must embrace. Initiate progress for your self! Take steps and you will be surprised how fast you will rise to heights beyond your imagination. Don't let stagnation catch up with you! You can change whatever you don't like in your life by doing one of these two things: 1. Introducing something new or 2. Eliminating something old. Think about that!
You have the power to change your failure into success. It simply begins in the mind. Changing the thought "there is nothing else I can do" is the first step in this process. You cannot rise above what your thoughts are! If you think you can do it, you will and if you think you cannot, you will not.
Stop waiting for a change to come to you. It's time to accept responsibility and begin to initiate changes in your life. That is the only way to get from where you are right now to where you ought to be!
Stay above...always.
