When I was in school I hated pop quizzes! Our teachers never told us when he/she would give them and so I had to be prepared all the time. I had to do my assigned readings, do my homework and complete all my assignments. By doing these I was pretty sure I would "nail" those unexpected pop quizzes. As much as I hated pop quizzes I knew they were for my benefit and meant to sharpen my scholastic skills.
 
God operates on the same principle. You never know when He will send a test to strengthen your faith! Don't be surprised that you are going through testing.  Now God's tests are not necessarily ones you'd choose for yourself and they certainly don't come at the right time! What's even more frustrating is the fact that they come to test you in your areas of weakness.
 
The tests of life are meant for our good... to sharpen us and strengthen us spiritually. When tests come you have one of two choices to make: One: act like a victim and complain that you've been singled out and treated unfairly by God.  Two: Let the test teach you areas in your life that need more work and cry out to God to strengthen you in those areas.
 
God will never give you a test that you cannot handle and He'll be there to help you. So the word for you today is....be prepared! The test could come at anytime.
