Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be...? (Luke 1:34)
When the angel told Mary that God had chosen her to be the mother of His Son, her response was understandable: "How can this be, since I am a virgin?" You can imagine what was going through her head. What would people think? How would she explain her situation? What would Joseph say? Would he abandon her? The bible says she was greatly troubled. (Luke 1:29) Are you in such a position like Mary? You are facing a situation that makes no sense and are asking, "How can this be?" Maybe you are out of a job and trusting God to provide for your family and you are asking, "How can this be?" Or perhaps you are sick and although you know "by His stripes I am healed", you're wondering, "How can this be when I still have my symptoms?" In Mary's situation it seemed that what God was telling her was impossible. It had never been done before! But that's what makes a miracle miraculous! Mary was about to do something nobody would ever do again. God had a plan. So if you are struggling with something that does not make sense, remember that God does have a plan. He has promised never to leave or forsake you. Remember what the angel said to Mary, "Nothing is impossible with God" (Luke 1:37). He is saying the same to you!
Stay above...always.
Yours & His,
