"Do all things without complaining." (Philippians 2:14 NKJV)
If someone gave you a dollar every time you complained, would you be a rich or poor person? Complaining is addictive and the more you complain the more you are stuck in your problems. As you complain even more, you end up with stress, not solutions. How foolish is that?
Complaining robs you of God's blessing. The way God sees it; you are doubting His wisdom and provision. He put twenty-three thousand Israelites to death for doing that. "Do not grumble, as some of them did - and were killed...These things were written down as warnings for us" (1 Corinthians 10:10-11 NIV).
Complaining affects your health. A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are life and health to the body (Proverbs 14:30 AMP). No complainer is calm and peaceful. Their emotions are in constant turmoil and that eventually will bring sickness and disease. Research has shown that 90% of illnesses are stress induced.
If you are a complainer, don't just check your attitude, change it! Start counting your blessings. In everything give thanks for this is the will of God for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
