All born again Christians must honestly re-evaluate their walk with God and determine if their love for Christ is still red-hot or if it has turned cold. What temperature is your spiritual thermometer? Spiritual depth and fervency cannot be caught by osmosis, or merely something on your wish list. It must become an all-consuming goal, and the highest priority in your life. Is it?
 
Distance from God is a frightening thing --- because you don't even know its happening. Success in not based on how you start; it's how you finish that matters.  Jesus was a finisher and He wants you to be one too! I hope you are saying with me "I will finish strong no matter what comes my way".
 
The Christian whose thermometer reads "red hot" does the following:

• Commits to developing character
• Commits to self-discipline
• Gives no excuses for personal weaknesses

Our scripture reference came from the very lips of Jesus, and it will be fulfilled in the lives of "many". Determine today that you will be among the few whose love for Him will not grow cold.
