Don't let any man do for you what only God should do for you. At the "arrest" of Jesus by the Roman soldiers Peter attempted to help Jesus but He would rather take (drink) the cup which His Father has given Him. He refused the help from Peter and instead healed the ear of the soldier that Peter had cut off. (John 18:10-11).
Am I saying that God cannot use men to help you? Certainly not! God will speak to people to come to your aid when needed. However you must look to God and not to people! Only God will not fail you. Sometimes God will allow all kinds of troubles just to teach you to rely only on Him.
The help of man away from "troubles" may be likened to attempting to help the chick out of its shell or butterfly from its cocoon. Either way it will come out feeble. Choose rather to go through the path and process God has for you than to be assisted and be taken away from Divine plan.
Every day resign to the perfect will of God for your life. Trust in Him as your true and faithful keeper.
