"....tell my people to go forward," (Exodus 14:15)
All the difficulties you face can be resolved. All your God-given dreams can be fulfilled. All that is required is for you to take action and move forward. Stop talking about your beautiful plans and the things you hope to do soon. Start doing something now! "Soon" is a language of deception. It keeps people hoping endlessly until they waste. If you take steps and start working on your plans, in a short while, you will become a man or woman of your dreams.
Going forward is impossible to those who are holding on to their past. If you don't let go of your past, you can not reach forward to the things ahead (Philippians 3:13-14). Turn loose of your past. The story is told of the monkey whose hand was inside a jar holding on to a banana. His owner-trainer wanted to give him bigger and riper bananas but the monkey wouldn't let go of the one banana he was holding onto. He limited himself: he wouldn't receive the reward.
When you begin to take steps, your blessings begin to move closer to you. The Bible says concerning the disciples, "They went forth everywhere, the Lord working with them..." (Mark 16:20). God's help is available in its fullness for those who take steps. You have to discipline yourself to keep your eye off the adversaries, focus on the open door and keep moving towards it. That is when you will begin to see possibilities in the midst of impossibilities; you will begin to see a way around the mountain that is intimidating you.
