LET YOUR PRAISE START AN EARTHQUAKE
"Suddenly, there was an earthquake..." (Acts 16:26)
Your praise does not only glorify God, it stirs Him into action. When Paul and Silas prayed and sang in the prison, the Bible says, "Suddenly...!" The earth quaked and the prison doors began to rattle. "And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loosed." When you are in praise there cannot be delays; things happen suddenly and immediately.
Every time we are in praise we are "quaking" the earth. And how does that happen? It happens because God begins to tap His foot on the earth. Have you not read from scriptures that the earth is His footstool? (Isaiah 66:1).
I prophesy that whatever prison house has been holding you down will surely break open as you begin to sing praises to God! Praising God is not funfair, it is warfare. In 2 Chronicles chapter 20 we read about the account of the most unusual battle ever fought in history. Jehoshaphat led the people of God to the warfront and instead of shooting arrows, they began to sing. The bible says, "...When they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten" (Verse 22). In praise we hand over our battles to God and when God takes over, the battle is over!
Keep your praise going even in the midst of trouble. Your praise is an indication that you trust God. Your praise will start an earthquake that will shift things in your favor!
Stay above...always.
Yours & His,
