It doesn't take a lot for most of us to feel like we have failed.  We strive for perfection and when we fall short, we really beat ourselves up!  If this is you today, I want you to go and study Hebrews Chapter 11.  This chapter lists some of God's heroes.  These men and women were powerful but not perfect.  God used them despite their human frailties.
 
Samson was a star in the battlefield, but struggled in the bedroom.  Jesus is called "Son of David" yet David was an adulterer and a murderer.  Moses had a problem with his temper.  Rahab was a prostitute.  The list goes on and on.  Did God discard them because they were not perfect?  Certainly not!  They are remembered today for their faith - not their flawlessness.  They were strengthened through their struggles, corrected but never discarded.  Out of their weakness, they were made strong.  That should be our motto also!
 
Remember that God will use you despite your imperfections.  Your limitations are not His and He uses what is available.  Don't allow the dent in your armor affect your performance on the battlefield.  You may have been beaten up by your weaknesses and imperfections but God sees who you are...A HERO.
