"...That the soul be without knowledge it is not good". (Proverbs 19:2)

The Word of God is real food for your soul. When your soul is denied or starved of knowledge, it becomes malnourished. Many believers have put themselves on a spiritual diet while they gorge their physical body. As a result, their spirits are weak and lean and their bodies are overfed! It must be the reverse: lavishly feed your soul and spirit, while you put your physical body on a diet. Just as we eat daily in order to renew our physical strength, we must acquire spiritual knowledge daily to grow. You can't use yesterday's food to sustain today's energy. You can't use the Bible reading of last week to satisfy your soul today. It has to be a daily exercise. When you feed your body and you don't feed your soul, your body soon becomes a burden to your soul. In Daniel 11:22, we are told that the people that know their God are the strong ones and are the ones that do great things. Do you want to be a successful Christian? Do you want to be significant, prosperous or fulfilled? If you answer "yes" to any of these, then start eating well....stay in the Word...get fat in the spirit!
Stay above...always.
