We all want only open doors because in our minds they signify that we are moving forward without any hindrance.  However, it is important to understand that the shut door has just as much power as an open one.  It is the same loving hand of our Father...Who knows what is best...Who emphatically shuts some doors in our lives.
 
How can you tell a door shut by God as opposed to that shut by the enemy?  Prayer and praise unlocks the enemy's door but will not unlock that door shut by God.
 
What doors has God shut at this time in your life?  Are you still up against that door trying to pray, pry, speak or work it open?  There is no purpose in that.  That closed door is a blessing...because there is another door right close to it that is wide open...and waiting for you to walk through!
 
So dear one, take your eyes off that shut door and trust that God knows and desires the best for you.  With expectancy and TRUST, ask Him to show you the doors that are open for you and walk through into a bright and glorious future!
