Three friends went mountain climbing.  Halfway up the mountain, one of the men slipped over a ledge and fell sixty feet below.  When his friends called out to him and asked if he was injured, he told them he had broken his arms.  They quickly tossed him a rope and started to pull their wounded friend to safety.  They had pulled him up some distance before they remembered he said he had broken both his arms.  "Joe! If you broke your arms, how are you hanging on?"  From the corner of his mouth Joe responded, "With my teeth".
 
Some days the best we can do is just hang on...with our teeth.  Even the strongest and wisest of us have times when we don't have the answers or see the way forward.  It is at those times we have to trust God...totally.
 
If you are having one of those times, all you can do is look up, trust God to pull you through and hang on "with your teeth".
