'Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them...' Matthew 7:12
What did Jesus mean when He said, '"Whatever you want men to do for you, do also to them..."'? He was saying:
1) Value people. There isn't a person in the world that does not want to be appreciated. Don't you?
2) Thank people. Help people increase their self-esteem. There's no higher compliment you can pay someone than helping them to be useful and to find satisfaction in their usefulness. Let people know you appreciate their efforts. Praise them in the presence of those closest to them.
3) Trust people. Without trust there can be no real relationship. You can make a man trustworthy by trusting him; and the surest way to make him untrustworthy, is to distrust him. Is that easy? No, especially someone you do not know very well. Yet that is Christ's Ggolden Rule. As you strive to invest confidence in others just as you would like it to be invested in you, remember these words, "The person who trusts others will always lose less than the person who distrusts them".
Stay above...always.
