• Call or stop by Lukas anytime to register for the classes (payment is required in advance to attend, and space is limited - so plan ahead! These classes will sell out!)
• Classes will begin at 6:30. At that time, we'll divide attendees into smaller groups. Those groups will move around the room to different stations, a short time at each station (a "speed dating" format).

• After each group has made it around the room, you'll have a chance to revisit your favorites and mingle and have fun.

Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix 

It all began in December 2009 when it started to snow - it kept snowing for several months. After weeks of record low temperatures and alternate freezing and thawing there were four feet of densely compacted snow on the distillery roofs.

On the evening of Thursday 7th January, in the most remote part of the snow covered distillery, some of the warehouse roofs collapsed, ripped open by the sheer weight of snow, leaving maturing oak casks of Glenfiddich exposed to the winter sky.

2007 Cliff Lede 'Poetry' Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap

The quintessential expression of an elegant Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry (86% Cabernet Sauvignon) combines elegance with power. Layered and full-bodied with an ethereal lightness as well as touches of oak and tannin, it is gorgeously pure and textured yet strikingly long and intense. Bursting with flavor, but neither heavy nor cloying, give it 3-4 years of cellaring, and enjoy it over the next 25+ years.

As the results attest, owner Cliff Lede, manager David Abreu, and up and coming winemaker Michelle Edwards are all obsessed with high quality. The ubiquitous Michel Rolland is also in the background for blending, consulting, etc. The 2007s appear to be stunning efforts.
