We recently picked up some of the new wines from Arizona Stronghold. A Joint venture between Maynard James Keenan & Eric Glomsky (Owner/Director of Winemaking at Page Springs Cellars and previously Winemaker at David Bruce Winery). For those of you not familiar with Maynard - shame on you. He is kind of a big deal if you were a snarky, angsty teen or twentysomething in the late 1990s. Lead singer of Tool and A Perfect Circle Maynard's musical cred is well known (not well known: He provided the background vocal, "Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin" on Green Jellÿ's "hit" "Three Little Pigs." • IF YOU ARE SKEPTICAL OF "CELEBRITY WINES" as you should be... know this: Arizona Stronghold & Cadeuceus' wines are not simply second-labels of some major Industriovinocomplex (ahem... Mr. Aykroyd... Mr. Vermeil, I'm looking at you). Rather, they are a labor of love for Maynard and Eric [Glomsky]. Two guys who just really love wine, whose wealth and winemaking knowledge (respectively) and passion (collectively) has allowed them to thrive after toiling in the deserts of Arizona. Please - take a moment to check out their website. Then come taste the "Tazi" white blend in the tasting room this Saturday. Then go buy a Tool album. Then do that last part four more times.

We also recently picked up an absurd amount of Cardhu 12 year old single malt Scotch. If you know anyone who drinks Scotch - they want a bottle of Cardhu 12 year old.
