Congratulations! The first quarter of 2009 is over! Although times are uncertain to say the least, at least one thing remains the same...
Your friends at Lukas Liquor Superstore will continue the hard work of representing the best values, while still offering the best selection of Wine, Beer, Spirits and Liqueurs in St. Louis. Our approach to doing business hasn't changed since Lukas opened its doors 9 years ago, and it isn't determined by the strength or weakness of the stock market.
We decided a long time ago that a store like Lukas must be all things to all people... This means that 24,000 square feet of retail space must be large and small. Our store must be large enough for the customer looking for great prices on value brands, but it cannot feel like a bargain warehouse... too imposing and impersonal for the customer looking for a highly-educated staff or for help selecting the perfect bottle.
We also realized that the two types of customers described above are not necessarily two different people! Often, both customers walk into Lukas in one pair of shoes! Every customer deserves to be personally wowed by a member of Lukas' staff, while understanding that they are paying a fair price for quality merchandise. That is why Lukas is still in business today, and why so many of our customers keep coming back!
With that in mind, we have two exciting classes coming up...
Our "Value Wines" class will include great wines priced under $20 each, and our "Boutique Bourbons" class will showcase some very unique Bourbons.
