Whenever you shop at Lukas, you know you'll find friendly, helpful people eager to help you find exactly what you're looking for (how easy the holidays would be if that were the case EVERYWHERE we shopped!). As Christmas approaches, our Calendar is jam-packed with tastings and opportunities to sample our great products to help you find the most unique gift (and make your shopping experience that much more enjoyable!).

Haley has worked hard to find the best wines for the holiday, including a Tempranillo that is only available at Lukas Liquor, while Tim has put together a great presentation of the year's BEST gift sets, including a Special Tequila offering - perfect for everyone from Tequila aficionados, to someone who wants the most unique home-bar.

Stop by Lukas and you're sure to find exactly what you need and have a GREAT time finding it!

We love Spanish wine, and this bottle pretty muchs says exactly why! 100% Tempranillo, so expect really big flavors of ripe dark fruit that go well with anything you'll be serving at your holiday get-together. Curious about what food to pair it with? Just check the label! A handy depiction of silhouettes of a cow, chicken, lamb, duck, rabbit... even (yikes!) a crocodile remind  you that this is a wine for all occasions! $9.99 750ml
You Need These Whiskeys!

From the makers of Buffalo Trace, Lukas' best-selling Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, come these extremely rare offerings. At the time of this email, we already sold out of George T. Stagg 15 year old barrel strength bourbon whiskey. Tim has generously resisted buying all of the bottles available at Lukas for himself (you can thank him by inviting him over for a drink of yours), but they will not be around for long. These are an easy choice for any Bourbon or whiskey buff on your shopping list. Included while supplies last is a technical specification sheet from the distillery describing exactly how each of these whiskeys were created, from the grain bill to the type of char selected for barrel ageing. $59.99 750ml

Sazerac Rye 18-Year-Old
(90 proof, Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey)
Malt Advocate rating: 95

Amber chestnut color. Huge, spicy aroma. Very mature, with notes of oak, leather, and molasses. Enormous in every respect, from its thick, chewy texture to its unbelievably spicy and very powerful flavors. The long, warm finish is preceded by notes of mint, eucalyptus, cinnamon, vanilla, molasses, oak, leather, and lingering pepper.
"This is an amazing, truly unique whiskey. There is no rye whiskey on the market that is as old or perfectly balanced as this one. For all who can't get enough flavors and intensity in your whiskey, your search has ended."
Malt Advocate Magazine

(and)
Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old
(90 Proof, "Rye Recipe" Kentucky Straight Bourbon)
Wine Enthusiast rating: 96

This deep, burnished-gold whiskey has a somewhat fragrant nose, and the aromas develop an almost wine-like character, with a hint of almonds lurking in the backdrop.
The body is big and silky, and the palate is far spicier than the nose leads you to believe, but there are also violet notes here, along with a touch of caramel and a hint of old leather.
The finish is very leathery, and very long.
This whiskey earned a great rating, but lovers of previous bottlings of Eagle Rare should know that this seems to bear a completely different style---it's far greater than either the 10-or 15-year old.
