Summer Camp Open Houses
May - June, Various Dates

Mom & Dad we know you have a lot of questions about Summer Camp, especially if it will be your son's first time at Day Camp or Sleepaway Camp. Our Open houses are a great way for you and your family to take a look at the camp, see where your son will be sleeping, eating and participating in activities. You'll have plenty of time to meet the Camp Directors and Staff. We'll have some activities planned and have lunch. If you're still undecided about sending your son to Camp then come by the open house!

The Scouting program comes to it's triumphant conclusion with Summer Camp. Scouts have taken part in many different activities all year long, Camp ties everything together and prepares your Scout for their next year in Cub Scouting or Boy Scouting.
The outdoor program is an essential part of Scouting and Summer Camp provides your Scout with adventure in the great outdoors, fellowship, independence, advancement and an opportunity to have fun with an exciting theme.
There are numerous exciting & unique week-long programs to choose from. Camps are geographically located throughout the Narragansett Council to make it convenient for Scouting families.
New for this summer is ALL SUMMER DAY CAMP at Camp Champlin in Cranston, RI. Spend the entire summer at camp at a significant discount, there is a different theme every week and plenty of fun to go around!

Scout Sleepovers with the Pawtucket Red Sox
May 26 & August 4, 2012

Baseball season is in full swing and what better way to celebrate than with the PawSox. Sleepover events include a clinic at 2:00PM on Saturday with coaches and players, a general admission ticket for the game at 6:05PM, concession coupons redeemable for a hot dog, soda, and chips, a movie on the big screen after the game, campout on the field, continental breakfast, and, of course, an exclusive designer patch for the low, low price of $27.50 per person!

Family Weekend

Family Weekend is a great family activity. The whole family, including Scout-aged siblings, may attend this one-night overnight experience at Camp Yawgoog. Family Weekend will begin with Check-In starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning and ending Sunday morning at 11:00 AM. Accomodations for the weekend are in tents with bunks and matresses with showers and flush toilets nearby. All meals are served in our modern Dinning Halls and prepared by qualified culinary professionals.
Cost of Attending Family Weekend $25 per person (Adult, Scouts, and Scout-aged siblings may attend) Camp fee includes lunch, dinner & desert on Saturday, breakfast Sunday, craft, commemorative patch and a great weekend of fun with your family at an outstanding camping facility!
