Meet Sierra Photo Credit: Angela Karen
|

Sierra, born September 1994 is an attractive and bright young lady. She makes good grades in school and enjoys reading.
She has had several placements since entering foster care at the
age of 10. She needs a family that will understand that she has issues
in her past that need to be dealt with and will follow through with
therapeutic services to help do just that.
Sierra has a twin sister who is in an adoptive placement. It is
important to Sierra that she be allowed to maintain contact with her
twin sister once she is adopted. Sierra has not given up on being part
of a family. She would prefer to be in a home with a single female.
Sierra doesn't mind if there are other children in the home.
Sierra enjoys basketball, boys, and fashion. She takes pride in her
appearance and just like any teenage girl she enjoys clothes and make
up.

Johnathon was born in July 1994 and is going into the 9th grade
(2009-10 school year). He was recently chosen as "Reader of the Week"
for the entire school. Johnathon does well in school. He joined Boy
Scouts this year and loves earning badges and socializing with his
peers.
Johnathon enjoys playing video games, riding bikes, watching
movies, listening to country music and playing outdoors. One of his
favorite things to do is to build things out of wood and nails. He once
made a big tree fort.
Johnathon is very worried about his future and often talks about
finding the "perfect family." He responds well to structure and
scheduling, and is learning how to better handle situations where there
is a sudden change in plans.
Johnathon is a sensitive young man who is very open and honest
about his feelings and needs a loving family to give him the love and
support he deserves.
