A Simple Approach to a Not-So-Ordinary Book Club
"Opus" means "book" and sorority just sounds more chic than "club!" Bring as many books and magazines as you want. We will have a table full of books available to trade. You can donate your books or request they be eventually returned to you. This is a great way to move out those piles of books you have finished and get some great new reads in return.
We meet four times a year - Most of our members felt like a monthly meeting didn't give everyone enough time to read and return their books, so this year we will meet quarterly. Please see bottom of this page for the future dates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a membership required? No! No fees and no forms to fill out. If you want to be added to the email invites, you can sign up anytime. Simply come to any of the swaps throughout the year. If possible, please RSVP so that we can prepare. Anyone is invited to attend so bring a friend!
How exactly does the swap work? Everyone simply brings their items, puts them out on a table and choses items in return. Some ladies just drop their items off and leave while others stay and discuss the books they brought - recommending some and telling what they didn't like about others.
What type of items to do swap? We swap books of any type, magazines, CDs and DVDs. In December, for an added holiday flare, we also swap unwanted Holiday decorations!
How many books and magazines can I bring? You may bring as many books and magazines as you like to add to the table. You can take only as many books as you leave. This policy keeps folks from taking the entire table!
What if I want my books returned? We will gladly add a name label to your books if you would like them eventually returned to you. These books are also logged into a notebook for tracking purposes. If you don't want your books back, they will be added to the "pile" and kept for each swap.
