Operation Bartow Cares
Continuing from last month and In remberance of 9/11, this month's featured charity is once again Operation Bartow Cares. Founded by the Bartow Business Association and lead by Jennifer Nelson, this wonderful group sends packages to troops serving in Iraq. All proceeds from the sales of our handmade Patriotic Cards for Charity Collection will be donated to this great group. October is here and it brings beautiful Fall colors and inspires wonderful creative ideas with it's palette. October also brings out the kid side in all of us as short scary monsters run though the streets with screams of joy - and sometimes fright!
October is my favorite month. Not only is it my birthday (hint, hint :) it is also my favorite time to decorate my home, throw creative parties for my kids and prepare ghoulish treats! Check out this month's creative ideas with our craft, recipe and fun tips for easy "how-tos."

Finally, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. In addition to continuing to support Operation Bartow Cares, The Kendal Companies will add a new line of handmade cards for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds from these cards will be donated to the Susan Koman Foundation.
